Custom veneers for a perfect smile that looks like it was always yours
Veneers are one of the most instantly visible cosmetic treatments available and one of the most rewarding when they’re done well. A thin layer of porcelain or composite material is custom crafted to fit the front surface of your tooth precisely and can be a wonderful solution for severe discolouration or misalignment, in a way that looks entirely natural and lasts for years with the right care.
At our practice, veneers are never applied as a standard set solution. Everyone we see is assessed as an individual case, taking into consideration your facial features, existing teeth and personal goals before any treatment begins. Our ethos is always to enhance what’s already there, not replacing it something that doesn’t belong.
Natural-looking results that create a confidence building smile crafted to suit your individual preferences and teeth.
Porcelain veneers are custom-made in a laboratory to fit your teeth exactly and are the most durable and long-lasting option. They’re highly resistant to staining and have a natural translucency that closely mimics natural tooth enamel. It’s widely accepted that they will last 10 to 15 years with good care. Treatment requires two appointments, the first to prepare the teeth and take impressions, the second to fit the finished veneers.
Composite veneers are applied directly to the tooth surface in a single appointment, and offer immediate results at a lower cost than porcelain. It’s a relatively straightforward treatment procedure with no need for drills or anaesthetic. They cover the entire front of the tooth surface and are shaped by hand to the desired form. Composite veneers typically last five to seven years and can be repaired or adjusted more easily than porcelain.
At your consultation we’ll assess your teeth and determine which type of veneer is right for you. Composite veneers are completed in a single visit, while porcelain veneers require two appointments: an initial impression followed by a fitting once your custom veneers return from the laboratory, with temporaries fitted in the meantime.
Whichever route suits you best, a digital smile preview is available before treatment begins, so you can see your expected result before committing to anything.

Porcelain veneers involve a small amount of enamel removal, which means the process is irreversible. Once you have porcelain veneers, the teeth will always need to be covered. Composite veneers are a reversible treatment. We’ll explain this clearly at your consultation so you can make a fully informed decision
Natural-looking results are a priority at YOR Dental. Every veneer is colour-matched and shaped to complement your facial features and existing teeth. We use digital smile previews where appropriate so you can see the expected outcome before treatment begins.
Porcelain veneers typically last 10-15 years with good care. Composite veneers last five to seven years. Maintaining good oral hygiene, attending regular check-ups, and avoiding biting on very hard foods will all help protect your results.
We recommend ensuring your teeth and gums are in good health before treatment begins. If whitening is something you’re considering alongside veneers, it should be done first. Whitening doesn’t affect veneer material, so the veneers would be matched to your newly whitened shade.
Most adults with healthy teeth and gums are suitable candidates. Patients with significant tooth grinding, very limited enamel, or advanced gum disease may not be suitable, or may need preparatory treatment first. We’ll assess this thoroughly at your consultation.
Pricing varies depending on the material chosen and the number of teeth being treated. Full details and a personalised quote will be provided at your free consultation. 0% finance is available.
